Frequently Asked Questions

General & Ordering FAQ – Frequently Asked Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ)?

For ready-stock bags with simple logo printing, the MOQ is often as low as 20–50 pieces.

What is the standard lead time for production?

Ready-stock + Printing: 5–10 working days after artwork approval.
Custom OEM production: 2–8 weeks depending on material availability and sea/air freight (if imported).

Can I request a physical sample before bulk production?

Yes, we can provide existing samples for quality checking. Custom mock-up samples with your logo usually incur a sampling fee, which is often refundable upon confirming a bulk order.

What file format do you need for my logo?

High-resolution vector files are best: .AI (Adobe Illustrator), .EPS, or .PDF. High-res PNGs may work for DTF printing but are not ideal for silkscreen.

Material-Specific FAQ

1. Non-Woven Bags

What is the difference between “Stitching” and “Ultrasonic” (Heat-press)?
Stitching: More durable, handles heavier loads, and looks more premium with thread-work.
Ultrasonic: Machine-pressed without thread. It is cheaper and faster to produce, ideal for high-volume giveaways.

What does “gsm” mean?
It stands for grams per square meter. Common weights are 80gsm (standard promotional) and 100gsm (heavy-duty/grocery).

2. PP Woven Bags

Why choose PP Woven over Non-Woven?
PP Woven is much stronger and tear-resistant because the plastic is woven together. It is typically laminated and used for heavy items like rice bags or “IKEA-style” shopping bags.

Is it waterproof?
Yes, most PP woven bags are laminated with a BOPP film, making them water-resistant and easy to wipe clean.

3. Canvas Bags

What is the difference between 5oz, 8oz, 10oz, and 12oz canvas?
5oz / 8oz: Lightweight options, often used for standard “Eco-bags,” promotional giveaways, or simple gift bags.
10oz: A highly popular medium-weight option. It offers a great balance of durability and flexibility, making it perfect for everyday use and quality corporate gifts.
12oz: Thick, premium material used for high-end retail tote bags that can handle heavier loads and last for years.

Will the bag shrink after washing?
Natural canvas can shrink about 5–10% if washed in hot water or put in a dryer. We highly recommend spot-cleaning or hand-washing in cold water and air-drying to maintain the bag’s shape.

4. Jute Bags

Why is Jute more expensive than Canvas?
Jute is a natural, 100% biodegradable fiber with a distinct “woody” texture. It is highly durable and currently very trendy in Malaysia for premium corporate gifts and “aesthetic” hampers.

Can we print detailed logos on Jute?
Because Jute has a rough, open weave, very fine details may not be as sharp as on Canvas. Large, bold logos work best.

5. Polyester / Nylon Bags

Are these suitable for foldable pouches?
Yes, Polyester 210D is the go-to material for lightweight, foldable “pocket” bags because it is thin, strong, and water-repellent.

Printing & Technical FAQ

Which printing method should I choose?

Silkscreen: Best for 1–2 color solid logos (most cost-effective).
Heat Transfer / DTF: Best for multi-color logos or photos with gradients.
Sublimation: Best for full-color designs on custom made white polyester /polycanvas bags.

Does the price include delivery within Malaysia?

Prices usually exclude delivery. We can arrange courier services (City-Link for bulk orders) for West Malaysia or shipping for East Malaysia (Sabah/Sarawak). Instant delivery by Grab Delivery / Lalamove is sometimes offered for bulk orders within the Klang Valley with charges.
