When ordering custom printed bags for your next corporate event, exhibition, or retail launch, picking the right bag is only half the battle. The printing method you choose can completely change how your final product looks and feels.
At Eco Green Bag, we want your logo to look crisp, professional, and vibrant. Here is a simple guide to our two most popular printing techniques to help you make the best choice for your brand.
1. Silkscreen Printing: The Classic Choice
Silkscreen printing is the industry standard for custom merchandise. It involves creating a custom stencil (or screen) of your logo and pushing ink directly through it onto the fabric.
- The Pros: It is incredibly cost-effective for massive bulk orders. The ink bonds deeply with the fabric, creating highly durable, vibrant, and solid colors.
- Best Used For: Clean, simple logos with 1 to 3 solid colors.
- Perfect Match: This is the go-to method for our A4 non-woven bags and single-color promotional giveaways.
2. DTF (Direct-to-Film) Printing: The Full-Color Solution
DTF is a modern printing powerhouse. Instead of pushing ink through a screen, your design is printed in high-definition onto a special transfer film, which is then heat-pressed permanently onto the bag.
- The Pros: There are no limits on color! It can handle complex gradients, actual photographs, and highly detailed multi-color logos perfectly without the high setup fees of traditional multi-screen printing.
- Best Used For: Complex, colorful artwork, shading, or designs with very fine details.
- Perfect Match: Excellent for premium corporate gifts where brand colors must be exact.
An Expert Tip: Why the Fabric Matters
As your printing partner, we always analyze your artwork and your chosen material before we start production. Not every print method works on every bag!
For example, our premium 10oz canvas fabric is a massive crowd favorite for its durability and natural texture. However, if you choose a heavily dyed black canvas and want a white colour design or bright DTF heat-press design, you have to watch out for “dye migration”—a chemical reaction where the dark fabric dye bleeds into the light-colored print under high heat. To ensure your logo stays perfectly bright, we counter this by using metallic silkscreen print instead.
Not sure which method is right for your logo? You don’t have to guess! Send your logo to the Eco Green Bag team via WhatsApp, and we will recommend the best, most cost-effective printing method for your specific project.
